Passengers rely on Lyft for many reasons. To get to work, the doctor, the airport to catch a flight, or a school to pick up the kids. And, sometimes, even to get to a home safely when the public transit has stopped running. Drivers using Lyft, use it for income and flexibility, and it has become a key factor for their livelihood.We at Lyft Reliability Software Engineering (RSWE) takes this responsibility very seriously. Our organization&#x27;s mission is to give our passengers and drivers the world&#x27;s most reliable ride-sharing service, which they rely upon at all times.To promote the reliability engineering practices widely, and sharing some of our own stories and lessons learned with the community, we are hosting the &#x27;Building Reliable Systems&#x27; Event at Lyft.
