Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc.'s founders, Dr. Richard Presberry, Sr. and his wife, Iva Presberry, traveled to Haiti for the first time in 1999. This Christian not-for-profit organization was incorporated in 2003 and serves impoverished and underserved children in the country of Haiti.The Presberrys lead annual mission trips to Marre Blanche, Haiti in the southern mountains east of Jacmel. Marre Blanche is very rural with an elevation of more than 5,300 feet. Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc.

After 14 years of service to children in Haiti, Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc. will host an exciting awards and fundraising dinner.  Hope for Caribbean Kids, Inc. is committed to serving impoverished children in Haiti by funding education, food and nutrition, teacher salaries, training workshops, construction projects, annual medical check-ups and constructing a new school.
We will honor these partners who greatly impact our success: Trent and Darla Porter (Trent, retired and Darla, President of Brown Printing, Jefferson City); First Assembly of God and Pastor Lowell Perkins, Jefferson City; First Baptist Church and Dr. Wendell Bonner of Webster Groves, Missouri, as well as, Meds and Food for Kids and Patricia Wolff, M.D., Founder and Executive Director, St. Louis
The event’s international speaker is Pastor Wisny Exima who grew up in poverty in Haiti. Yet, unlike most Haitian children, he completed high school and graduated from Rhema Bible College in Port-au-Prince. Pastor Wisny coordinates and oversees many of our projects in Haiti. He also provides services to five other organizations in the United States and supports countless people in Haiti. 
Special entertainment includes a children’s choir, children praise dancers, a flutist and a classical guitarist.
