The Building for Digital Equity online event is back! Timely information, presented in an engaging manner about Internet access.

Join the Institute for Local Self-Reliance for a one hour livestream event to unpack how local communities are improving Internet access for everyone. On February, 16th, from 3-4pm ET, we&#x27;re hosting an online conversation to bring together local stakeholders, policy advocates, and GIS and Data Visualization Specialists in one place. This is the first of a quarterly series through 2023 sponsored by UTOPIA Fiber that will cover important issues in digital equity. As with previous Building for Digital Equity events, this is not your ordinary webinar. We will keep it tight, fun, and engaging! Watch our first Building for Digital Equity event from last year below!This event will cover new mapping tools, best practices and examples of building local digital equity coalitions, and updates on the Affordable Connectivity Plan. Co-hosts Kim McKinley, Chief Marketing Officer of UTOPIA Fiber, and Christopher Mitchell, Director of the Community Broadband Networks Initiative at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance will share the stage with other experts to discuss these topics and field questions.
