Building Equitable Higher Education Pathways for ECE Workforce
Join us for the Forum on Early Childhood Policy and Research, a policy and practice conversation on preparing the early childhood workforce.
The Forum on Early Childhood Policy and Research will engage stakeholders in a timely conversation to discuss how higher education can prepare to support the Governor's vision for universal child care on Long Island. This Forum will highlight lessons from the development of a Spanish-language Child Development Associate (CDA) microcredential program at Farmingdale State College, designed to expand access to higher education for multilingual early childhood educators. The discussion will reflect on program successes, identify areas of opportunity, and explore how similar workforce models can be strengthened and scaled to meet the growing demand for early childhood professionals.
