Description

This training will aid practitioners and managers in creating meaningful authentic connection, networking and building strategic partnerships. Participants will learn in real-time how to network with other professionals through self-awareness techniques, methodology from experienced social services professionals, and exploration through practice

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Engage, identify and explore the aspects of communication both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Develop a set of techniques on how to engage with others, compare networking styles and identify their own system for inter- and outer- agency partnerships.
  • Apply techniques for networking-immediate engagement, mastering the meet up, and successful connection.
  • Demonstrate how to secure the professional partnerships and relationships they desire

Dominique's training draws from her over ten years of human services experience utilizing best practice solutions, policy integration methods and advocacy techniques that center the experiences of people of color and marginalized communities, in the workplace and in accessing vital social resources. These can be tailored into 1-4 hour increment sessions.
