Placing quick, threat-stopping hits on target is the core of all gun fighting skills. In order to accomplish this goal, firearms instructors must develop practical, fundamental skills in their shooters. Once these skills are developed, instructors must challenge all their student’s skill levels to achieve a balance between speed and accuracy.

This instructor level class provides firearms instructors with information regarding techniques to instruct all shooters in the fundamentals of marksmanship, drills to develop combative speed and accuracy in their students, concepts and techniques to develop their own drills to improve student performance, information on how adult-learning affects shooter performance, and tips and techniques to help coach, mentor, teach, and instruct shooters.

This fast-paced and dynamic instructor development class takes a unique look at a variety of instructor related topics including:

• Review of the fundamentals of marksmanship

• Doctrine v. Dogma for Firearms Instructors

• Range safety rules v. Firearms Safety Rules
