The talk will be moderated by Brad Hargreaves, Founder &amp; Editor at Thesis Driven. Even with the impact of Covid and the consequent doubts about urban living and office spaces, VCs invested $1.69 Billion in real estate technology in Q1 of this year. Many of you are building the products that will shape the next era of real estate tech innovation; this panel is for you.</p><h3>T﻿opics We&#x27;ll Cover</h3><p><strong>Market opportunities in 2023.</strong> What are the most important and interesting real estate problems for new startups to address? What are the speakers seeing that&#x27;s working well? What&#x27;s not working well? </p><p><strong>Trends</strong>. What trends are going to make a difference to founders over the next 1-2 years? Climate tech, OpCo-PropCo models, data-driven investing, the future of work and more. </p><p><strong>P﻿roduct</strong>. How did the founders on the panel go about building their products? How did those products evolve and what lessons can they share about early stage product development?</p><p><strong>Fundraising</strong>. What are investors excited about in real estate tech? What makes them wary? Where should founders look for investors - institutional VC, family offices, strategic investors? Are new funding models on the horizon?</p><p><strong>Partnerships</strong>. Real estate ownership and management is very fragmented, and real estate owners can be averse to change. She is the Co-founder and (formerly) CEO of Funnel, a platform that houses all renter-facing interactions in a simplified connected platform, from inquiry through renewals.</p><p><strong>D﻿iallo Powell is the CEO &amp; Co-founder of Stak Mobility. </strong>Stak Mobility combines mobile IoT tech, industrial automation and EV charging for an innovative space-saving and environmentally sustainable solution to a perpetual urban problem: space. Diallo is also a member of advisory boards at Benefit Kitchen, Shift Group and Spring Street Exchange.</p><p><strong>Sumeet Singh is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz</strong> investing at the intersection of fintech and other categories such as consumer social, marketplaces, commerce, and healthcare. Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Sumeet led BD &amp; Strategy at Brigit, a financial health company focused on helping Americans living paycheck to paycheck. </p><p>Our guest moderator <strong>B﻿rad Hargreaves is the Founder &amp; Editor of Thesis Driven.</strong> Thesis Driven is a newsletter that dives deep into emerging real estate themes and operating models by featuring a handful of GPs executing on each theme. Brad is a longtime entrepreneur; he founded Common (2015) and co-founded General Assembly (2009).
