The Racial Justice Task Force and the Social Justice Council are excited to announce an 8th principle implementation virtual workshop.

Virtual Event Schedule:

  • Note: There will be a break between Saturday's sessions for virtual lunch.

The Racial Justice Task Force and the Social Justice Council are excited to announce a virtual workshop that will greatly help our congregation as we implement our 8th Principle. Our presenter is Paula Cole Jones who, along with Bruce Pollack Johnson, conceived of and wrote the 8th Principle. In addition, Paula Cole Jones is the founder of ADORE (A Dialogue on Race & Ethnicity), a former president of DRUUMM (Diverse and Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries) and an independent consultant specializing in multicultural competencies and institutional change.

Paula Cole Jones will lead First Universalist Members and Friends in an online workshop designed to be an interactive experience in the transformative power of applying 8th Principle strategies and practices to our social justice and community-building work.

We thank the Social Justice Council for funding a portion of the workshop fee. We are asking a $20 donation for the remainder of the costs. Once you've register for the event, please Click Here to donate using our online form.
