About Our Panelists:

Dani Schultz

Dani Schultz received her PhD from the University of Michigan working with Professor John Wolfe and was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Professor Tehshik Yoon. Since joining Merck in 2014, Dani has been a member of Process Chemistry and Enabling Technologies in Rahway, NJ and as of 2021 became the Director of the Discovery Process Chemistry group in Kenilworth, NJ. Throughout her time at Merck, Dani has been involved in the development of synthetic routes for drug candidates spanning HIV and oncology and has utilized HTE and photochemistry to address the synthetic challenges that occur during pharmaceutical development.

Neetu Bhatia

Neetu Bhatia is the co-founder & CEO of Zoonga (f/k/a Kyazoonga). An investment banker turned entrepreneur, Neetu is credited with creating the professional entertainment and sports ticketing market in India. Prior to co-founding Zoonga, she was a senior media & telecom investment banker on Wall Street. Most recently, she led Bank of Montreal’s U.S. Internet Media practice as a Director in its TMT Investment Banking Group. She has over nine years of experience originating and executing several strategic advisory and financing transactions including over $40 billion of executed deals for Time Warner, Google, Comcast, Cablevision, Verizon, Cingular, AT&T and others.

Neetu has an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Govt. College of Engineering, Pune, where she graduated as the Best Outgoing Student. While at MIT, Neetu was research assistant to Nobel Laureate Franco Modigliani, the founding father of modern corporate finance. A former national cricket player, Neetu serves on the Boards of several not-for-profit organizations in New York City and India.

Margaret T. Fuller

Margaret T. Fuller is a Professor in the Departments of Developmental Biology and of Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine and Reed-Hodgkins professor of Human Biology at Stanford. Dr. Fuller received a BA in Physics from Brandeis University, a Ph.D. in Microbiology from MIT and did her postdoctoral research in Developmental Genetics at Indiana University. Dr. Fuller was an Assistant professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1983-1990, moving to Stanford to the newly formed Department of Developmental Biology in June of 1990. Dr. Fuller’s research is in the areas of developmental biology, cell biology and genetics. Her laboratory studies how specialized cells arise from adult stem cell precursors. She enjoys singing, painting, hiking and camping in the mountains, river running, SCUBA diving and snorkeling, travel, underwater photography, and islands.
