About this event

Curious about how technology can improve lives and support independence?

In this hands-on introductory class, you'll learn what assistive technology is and how it's transforming everyday challenges into opportunities for greater accessibility. We'll explore the Makers Making Change platform, a powerful online resource for finding and creating open-source assistive devices. You'll also get step-by-step guidance on how to start 3D printing your own assistive tech. Each student will 3D print one item during the course for later pickup.

A $10 materials fee will be collected to cover printing costs on the day of event at The Makers Den. No prior experience with 3D printing is required—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
