These panels will cover what it’s like to work in the government from those with direct experience. Each panelist will share their personal experience, providing an insider perspective on recruitment: selection, security, networking, interviewing, how to avoid pitfalls, and other things you need to know.

Panel 1: A Clean Energy Revolution is Possible When You Snag That Appointment! (AKA How to Get an Appointment within the New Administration)

Reaching a clean energy future will only be possible if our leaders are committed to these goals throughout the government. Join this panel featuring experts in Presidential transition, and prior appointees, where we’ll discuss how to get an appointed position within the Biden Administration. This panel will cover everything you’ll need to know from how to apply, to how to increase your chances of getting an interview and how to successfully get selected for an appointment. We will cover the logistics of getting into the Administration, as well as share personal experiences and stories. A handy resource document will be provided to help you navigate next steps.
