Build and Deploy Your Simple Python Data App from scratch

women++is a Swiss non-profit association which strives to increase gender diversity in ICT. We organize tech-related workshops, hands-on tech programs for social good, hackathons, and career-related training. In our workshops, we will encourage you to code, build, design, play with the internet of things, and even build your own hardware.

We will use Python and any Python IDE (Pycharm or VScode can be used). We will perform the small exercise and our instructors can help you.

<h2>W﻿orkshop description</h2><p>T﻿his is an on-site, hands-on workshop.</p><p>We will create a Streamlit app with Python which runs locally on your computer and explore how you can get it into the cloud. If you don't have your own app ready, you can download our template and the dataset and try out the deployment with these files.</p><p>Streamlit Cloud will fetch all the files required for the app deployment from Github, so first of all, we need to ensure that everything is available in a public repo.</p><p></p><h2>Material needed	</h2><ul><li>L﻿aptop and charger</li><li>GitHub account</li><li>Python IDE should be installed (VSCode or PyCharm)</li></ul><p></p><h2>A﻿bout the speaker</h2><h3>P﻿hD <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/ekaterina-butyugina/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ekaterina Butyugina</a></h3><p>Ekaterina is a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics turned Data Scientist. An inclusive hackathon for tech enthusiasts of all levels, including women transitioning to tech and first-timers!
