In the first session we will design our houses, create patterns, texture and cut the parts.

Class 2, June 20


In the second session we will assemble the parts into the full house, and refine the assembled house to its finished state. The houses will be fired before the third class.

Class 3, June 27


In the third and final class, we will finish, polish and patina our houses.

Guided by our experienced instructor, you'll discover the secrets of molding, shaping, and detailing your own miniature masterpiece. Whether you're a seasoned artisan or a budding beginner, this class offers a magical opportunity to channel your creativity and bring a touch of fantasy to life. Join us and let your imagination take flight as you fashion a stunning fairy house pendant to cherish forever.

This is a 3-week class, please make sure you are available for all sessions so you can complete your house. No make-up time is available.


  • Skill Level: beginner, some experience helpful but not required
  • Dates: Thursdays, June 13, 20 and 27, 2024
  • Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Fee: $150, plus materials ($50-150, depending on size and embellishments)

This fun, special project class is the perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty with precious metal clay. You will learn how to construct a hollow form house, how to create various textures, and how to form and attach embellishments. The houses will be fired by the instructor between the 2nd and 3rd classes, and you will patina and polish your tiny house. These itty-bitty bungalows can be made into pendants or set out as decor.

What is your refund policy?

A full refund minus $25.00 service fee is available up one week prior to the start date. Cancellation between 1 to 7 days prior to the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds available as of the start date.

Is the class wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately not at this time. Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio is on the second floor and there is no accessible elevator.

What about food and drink?

There is no food or beverage vending in Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio nor at FAVO. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments, but drinks must be in a sealed container.

Can I bring my child to class with me?

Classes are for adults only, aged 15 and up. For safety reasons, children under 15 are not allowed in the studio during working sessions. Due to space limitations, only registered and paid participants are allowed in the studio during working sessions.

What if I have to miss a class?

There is no make up time for Special Project Classes and Workshops.

How long is the class?

Regular classes are 4-weeks, 4 meetings of 3-hours each, and run monthly. Workshops and special events vary in length depending on the project(s), and are one day, or 2 subsequent days.
