Build A Better Grant Series- Session #1: Help! I Need a Logic Model!

Youth Forward will be partnering with the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy to host a series of three free interactive sessions to help organizations Build a Better Grant.

In this first session, Logic Model Development, you will be building a roadmap for your work. To be competitive for funding, organizations must be able to present a clear roadmap for their work, including long-term goals, activities for accomplishing these goals, and benchmarks of success. A logic model can provide this roadmap, which then serves as a guide to program activities, funding requests, evaluation questions, and possible metrics to measure outcomes. This session will describe the key constructs of logic models. Facilitatied exercises will assist participants in initial construction of logic plans for their works.
