🎸🎶 Rock on at our Band Camp for Young Musicians! 🤘

Hey there, budding rockstars! Get ready to jam out with us at our electrifying band camp designed just for kids who have some experience on an instrument.

Join us for an epic week of learning how to groove together in a band, crafting killer tunes, and discovering the secrets of rocking out on stage. 🎤 Led by our awesome instructors, you'll dive into the world of band dynamics, master the art of collaboration, and unleash your inner rockstar! 🚀

But wait, there's more! 🌟 Throughout the week, you'll get to:

  • Form your own band 🎸
  • Write and arrange your own songs (or master your favourite hits)📝
  • Rehearse and perfect your setlist 🎵
  • Learn stage presence and performance techniques 🎭

At the end of the week, you'll have an opportunity to show off your band's new hits to your family!

Frequently asked questions

What is the age range for campers?

Ages 8 to 12. If you have a child outside of that age range, but you think would still be a good fit for this camp, please feel free to send us an email and we can discuss further.

Who are the instructors and what are their qualifications?

Our instructors are professionally trained musicians with university degrees in music. They have years worth of experience in music instruction and summer camps, especially with this age bracket. Every TKAM teacher submits a vulnerable sector police check and completes safety training upon hiring.

Is there a specific musical background required for campers?

Prior experience on an instrument is needed for this camp.

What safety measures are in place during the camp?

All staff have completed our Plan To Protect safety training and submitted a successful vulnerable sector check. TKAM is a certified "Official Safety Plan Music School," with security cameras and see-through doors in every room. Our camps have a maximum of twelve campers to maximize safety and fun.

What should my child bring to camp each day?

Lunch/snacks, outdoor clothing, and their awesome personality!
