What types of things will I learn at this event?

Accepted Answer

Our educators will review general information about insects and arthropods and provide you with some foundational tools to improve your nature observation skills. You will also get hands-on experience catching and observing  insects and arthropods. We will provide all the tools you need!

How much walking will there be?

Accepted Answer

The introductory portion held at The Hub will have seats available. We will then have an easy ~10 minute walk to Progress Park. While at Progress Park, there will be a light mix of walking or standing. Feel free to bring a small blanket or picnic chair if you feel you might need to take breaks.

Will I be able to buy merch?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We will have a small selection of our insect t-shirts available for purchase along with buttons and stickers. We accept cash and card payments at the event. You can also check out our Etsy site grab a shirt to rock ahead of time!
