    Discover a hidden world of marvelous mini-beasts living all around us!

    A FREE afternoon of invertebrate adventures among the trails of Friendship Botanic Gardens. Visitors can learn about bugs from local experts, take part in hands-on activites, and meet live creepy crawlies!

    These historic gardens are inspired by the 1933 Century of Progress Fair in Chicago and include 105 acres of wooded trails, open garden spaces, a meadow, a lake, and Trail Creek.

    Aside from special events, we are open to the public Tuesday-Sunday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Central Time from May through the last weekend of October.

    Thursdays are discount admission days for $5/person. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and over. Children 12 and under are free. Memberships are available for individuals or families.
