Description
Get your entomology on during a 5 day bug bonanza! Stay at the beautiful Sagehen Creek Field Station and receive expert instruction, guided field experiences, and participate in workshops about different insect taxa, macro photography, citizen science, and more. There will also be plenty of time for casual exploration and relaxing!
- Last day to register is July 14, 11:59 pm
- General admission is a flat rate and covers entrance for up to 5 days.
- To keep costs down, food is not provided. There are refrigerators and a full kitchen at Sagehen that will be available to participants. However, there will be multiple groups in the camp (not just ours), so it's best to bring food that requires little or no preparation.
- Truckee is located 20 minutes away from Sagehen and has easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and other attractions.
- No pets, smoking, or campfires are allowed at the field station.
- Kids are welcome if parents are in attendance, but this event is geared toward adults and not children.
