All aboard the Buck O’Neil 107th Birthday “PARTY TRAIN,” for a FUN and FUNKY celebration of the baseball legend’s amazing life! Don’t miss BUCK’S 107th BIRTHDAY BASH, 8pm, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at the Gem Theater! Proceeds benefit the NLBM!
No one loved a good party like the fun-loving O’Neil and this year’s event promises not to disappoint featuring a concert with the GAP EXPERIENCE (formerly Gap Band) who will perform classic, chart-topping hits that include, “Party Train,” “Outstanding,” “Yearning for Your Love,” “Burn Rubber on Me,” and “Early in the Morning.” 
A ROYAL SALUTE TO A MONARCH: Before the GAP EXPERIENCE hits the stage, a trio of Kansas City Royals legends, Amos Otis, Willie Wilson, and Frank White will sit down with renowned writer/author, Joe Posnanski to share memories of O'Neil and the influence he had on their careers.
For the evening, you can choose the exclusive "107 VIP Package," which features a pre-event cocktail reception at the museum (6:00 pm) and lower level seating for the theater ceremonies.
