Get ready to mix, fizz, and create exciting bubbling reactions!
Bubble Blast Engineering Lab is a fun hands-on STEM workshop for students ages 6–12 and part of the CHEMISTRY ENGINEERING WEEK at the Washington Heights STEM Center. Students will explore chemistry by creating colorful fizzy reactions and designing their own bath bomb creations while learning how ingredients react and transform through science experiments.
Throughout the workshop, participants will discover concepts connected to chemistry, chemical reactions, and materials science while developing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a safe and engaging environment. Students will experiment with colors, scents, textures, and bubbling reactions through exciting hands-on activities and creative engineering challenges.
All workshops are completely free. The only requirement for participation is submitting a Washington Heights STEM Center Member Card using the following link:
