Black Student Fund (BSF) was established in 1964 and is dedicated to bringing people together by maintaining access to independent schools for African-American children. Currently, BSF has 53 member schools. For nearly five decades, BSF has contributed to the success of African-American students and the growth and development of equitable learning environments at independent schools.

The mission of the Latino Student Fund (LSF) is to provide opportunities for a strong academic foundation for underserved PreK-12th grade students of Hispanic descent and their families to promote higher education and professional leadership. The LSF was founded in 1994 to address the growing high school dropout rates among Latino students in Washington, DC. Over the years, we have continued to develop and expand our services to meet the evolving educational needs of the Latino community in the Greater Washington region.
