Description

Speaker: Joshua Gomez - Head of Software Development & Library Systems, UCLA Library

The Library's software development team recently conducted an experiment to enhance the digital library's metadata with machine generated tags from services like AWS Rekognition, Google Vision, and Clarafai. We also used usertesting.com to quickly conduct user tests and determine if the enhanced metadata improved search results for users. We'll share our experience using these tools and the results of our experiment.
