ABOUT THE ARTIST
Brooklyn Charmers is a Steely Dan tribute band comprised of some of Chicago's top players. With masterful precision and obsessive dedication to the music, Brooklyn Charmers injects a new energy into the beloved catalogue; bridging the gap between new and lifelong fans alike.
Steely Dan's blend of rock and jazz, along with their infectious hooks and poignant lyrics, put them in another league in the eyes of critics and fans. Their prolific and consistent output throughout the 1970's cements them as classic rock royalty. Brooklyn Charmers are excited to carry the torch into the new generation.
DID YOU KNOW?
Steely Dan's only consistent band members were Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Not known for extensive touring, they mastered the art of studio recording; sometimes spending years cooped up working on their next album.

About the organizer
At The Venue, we book nationally-recognized talent in all genres of music from blues and big band, to rock and world music, and everything in between. Frequently, our opening acts feature regional and local musicians and songwriters. Our listening room seats 200 with no obstructed views, and our outdoor stage area can fit several hundred festival fans.
The Venue is operated by the Fox Valley Music Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to music education, promotion and preservation.
