Exotic Gardens is the new live electronics dub oriented solo project by Aaron Coyes of Peaking Lights notoriety. Fresh back to living in the US from a stint in Amsterdam, Exotic Gardens floats out of the vibrant sonic world created by Peaking Lights into even more cavernous dub explorations drawing from the genre's rich history but delivering something totally forward and specific to Aaron's always unique and evolving sound. With touches of acid laced post punk and psychedelic steppers Exotic Gardens hits deep.
Feel Free Hi Fi is a Twin Cities based sound system duo who create experimental electronic dancehall, steppers and dub presented live via unique dubplates and live industrial dub processing. With four records out on their in-house imprint Digital Sting in recent years including collaborations with Jamaican collectives Equiknoxx and Duppy Gun, the time felt right to take the trip out from the Midwest for some West Coast live dates.
Carlos Souffront is a DJ's DJ from Detroit with impeccable taste who apparently has one of the most insane acid collections in the world.
