Bronx River Watershed Summit
Event Information
Description
For the past year we have been deeply involved in bringing together key Bronx River watershed stakeholder groups in both the Bronx and Westchester Counties, with the hope of building watershed-wide citizen engagement and stewardship. We would like to cordially invite you to participate in our inaugural Bronx River Watershed Summit to be held on December 1st at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
This will be an opportunity for local and regional agencies, nonprofits, academic institutions, and interested individuals to learn more about past successes, assist with current efforts, and create future collaborative projects that preserve, improve, and restore the Bronx River watershed. Registration is required; click the green ticket link above and you will be guided through the registration process. Coffee and light refreshments will be served in the morning and lunch will be provided. We are asking a $5 donation per ticket to help defray these costs, but if that causes a hardship, please contact Michelle Luebke directly at michelle.luebke@bronxriver.org.
Please share this announcements with your networks and anyone else you think would like to participate. We are looking forward to sharing this exciting event with you!
