Overview

This project is a workshop that strives to give shape to those turbulent childhood emotions.

"Back when I was young, I tore it apart.

The stuffed animal I cherished, torn to pieces.

Despite holding it so dear only hours prior, one morning it repulsed me.

Taking the knife tucked away in my desk, I ripped my treasured friend to shreds.

And yet,

reluctant to throw it away,

I returned it to my bedside.

I love it, I hate it,

yet I love it so much.

What is "love", really?

Back when I was young, I didn't understand that sudden feeling.

Love is the flip side of Hate.

Hate is the endless desire beyond the farthest reaches of Love.

Surely, we'll meet again... right?"

This project is a workshop that strives to give shape to those turbulent childhood emotions.

Through the process of upcycling and decorating unused stuffed animals, you create a physical manifestation of the fluctuating emotions with your own hands.
