What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds, minus a $25 cancellation fee, must be requested by 5 pm March 22, 2024. If you cancel after the deadline and before the date of the workshop, you will receive a credit for a future workshop. Cancellations must be received in writing (email is okay).

Will there be a recording or online version of this course?

Accepted Answer

The Foundation for the Contemporary Family is approved by APA for only in-person education, not for webinars or distance learning. Please consult the speakers websites if you require an online access to their courses.

How’s the parking?

Parking at the Newkirk Alumni Center is adjacent to the building. An attendant will be on hand to expedite the purchase of your daily pass.

What about lunch?

Through a generous grant from the Foundation for the Contemporary Family, a delicious lunch is included at no cost to you, followed by an afternoon snack break. Coffee and tea will be provided throughout the day.

What is your COVID policy?

We will observe all COVID restrictions, if any, required by UCI. At present, there are no restrictions, but the situation could change by the date of the workshop. We will keep you abreast of what you need to know.

I have special needs. Can you accommodate me?

I have two licenses. Can I get two certificates?

If you are licensed by more than one agency, please let us know your license number for each when you register.  You can submit a copy of your certificate to each agency.

Will my licensing agency accept these credits?

The Foundation for the Contemporary Family is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Foundation for the Contemporary Family maintains responsibility for this program and its content. BBS also accepts APA-approved courses.
