BRISTON MARONEY

After a childhood spent between Tennessee and Florida, 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Briston Maroney settled in Nashville — cutting his teeth playing house shows and winning over fans one living room at a time, which led Maroney to his first record deal with Atlantic Records.
In 2018, Maroney released Carnival, his debut EP, which spurned the RIAA Platinum-certified single "Freakin' Out On The Interstate." Additional EPs Indiana and Miracle followed, before Maroney unveiled his debut full-length album, Sunflower, in April of 2021 accompanied by a visual album directed by long-time collaborator Joey Brodnax. 2022 saw Maroney embark on his first sold out headline tour and the release of new singles include: “Paradise”, “Oregon”, and “Harvard”.

2023 marked Maroney’s release of his sophomore album Ultrapure. Produced by 2x GRAMMY®-winner Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) and engineered by Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan, Rainbow Kitten Surprise), the 13-track LP was crafted in Maroney’s adopted hometown of Nashville, TN and showcases the artist playing every instrument.

On the live front, Ultrapure led to sold-out headline tour dates featuring multiple nights in iconic clubs across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe, including Webster Hall in New York, the 9:30 Club in Washington DC, and Scala in London, UK. Maroney has also secured opening slots for Vance Joy & Noah Kahan; festival appearances from Lollapalooza to Osheaga to All Things Go, and the announcement of his 3rd annual ‘Paradise Festival,’ a three-night celebration of his adopted hometown (now an annual event set to return to Nashville each fall).

Maroney’s catalog has amassed over 700 million global streams across all platforms and he has made his television debuts on CBS Saturday Morning and Jimmy Kimmel Live!

He is set to embark on a 2024 fall headline tour followed by the 3rd annual Paradise Festival in November 2024.

WHY NOT

WHY NOT is the Minneapolis trio's self-titled mission statement. Fueled by the tension and uncertainty of the time and the changes in the band's personal lives -- from graduating high school and moving out of their childhood homes to growing into and out of long-term relationships -- and colored by the joy of creating with each other.

Henry Breen, Isaac Dell, and Joshua MacGregor met playing in a middle school music class, and soon after officially forming WHY NOT in early 2016. Before any band member could drive, they had released their first album and booked their first tour -- relying on Isaac's dad, Irve, for transportation to their shows.

Over time, the band pivoted from their math rock and punk beginnings, incorporating more of their wide variety of musical influences and showcasing their burgeoning songcraft. The result is pure sonic bombast - an amalgamation of punching drums, intricate guitars, digital distortion, and whatever experimental recording technique the band uncovers, all built around an incredibly memorable suite of songs. Paired with wildly energetic and dynamic live shows, WHY NOT is force to be reckoned with.
