About this event

Bridging The Gap (BTG) is funded by Indiana's Innovative Pilot Project grant opportunity and is FREE to all participants. BTG provides a socials skills treatment program for young adults with Autism spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other intellectual or developmental disorders facing social challenges. For 12 weeks, participants will meet in a small classroom setting & the Fort Wayne community where weekly lessons will be taught by Pure Abilities Certified PEERS Trainers.

Once pre-registraiton is complete, one of our team members will contact you to futher evaluation your eligibility for Bridging The Gap.

What is the age requirement for participants?

18-45

What is the cost?

There is no cost to the participants. This program is grant funded by Indiana's Innovate Pilot Project Grant.

Is transportation available?

Transportation is available to individuals who live within Allen County.

What are other participant requirements?

Individuals must have a form of functional communication such as verbal communication, Alternative/Augmented Communication Device, etc. to be able to request, protest, describe, ask and answer questions, comment and express feelings.

What is the attendance policy?

Participants are required to attend 75% of sessions outside of excused absences.
