About this event

Bridges Out of Poverty is an innovative, yet practical, human-and community-centered solution to addressing poverty. Bridges creates sustainable communities where everyone can live well.

Bridges Out of Poverty Training is based on the work of Dr. Ruby Payne, Phil DeVol and Terie Dreussi Smith, who are the co-authors of Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities.

Bridge Out of Poverty Training can assist organizations to:

• Redesign programs to better serve the people you work with

• Build skill sets for management to help guide employees

• Upgrade training for front-line staff like receptionists, caseworkers, and managers

• Improve treatment outcomes in healthcare and behavioral healthcare

• Increase the likelihood of moving from public assistance to work

Continuing Education Units (CEUs): CEUs are available for specific licensees: LSW, LCSW, LMFT and LMHC. CEUs are included with a paid registration and will be issued by Lampion Center. For participants seeking CEUs, full day attendance will be required in order to receive the certificate of completion with CEUs.

Cost is for all day training: $60.00 per person (which includes a box lunch and a book).

• Part 1: Check in is at 9:15 a.m. Training begins at 9:30 a.m. breaking at 12:15 for lunch

• Part 2: The training will resume at 1:00 p.m. and will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
