Trash grabbers, gloves, trash bags, hand sanitizer, a limited amount of reflective vests, and kayaks for 15 people!

Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, sunscreen, your own gloves if you have some, and friends and family!

Why is the kayak cleanup at a different time than the land cleanup?

Accepted Answer

We learned at our last cleanup that kayakers get hot very fast because there is no shade on the river, so we moved the kayak cleanup earlier to avoid the hottest times of the day. However, we wanted to keep the land cleanup from 4:00-6:00pm so everyone wouldn't need to be up so early.
