Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture is an organization dedicated to presenting and teaching Arab culture through the arts and language.

Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture

Dancer and Choreographer Belle Alvarez, BrideNext artist in residence, facilitates an interactive workshop for activists, artists, and city workers based in movement, memories of home, and storytelling. Participants will be guided through an exploration of embodied perspectives, community building, and cultivating empathy across cultural differences.
 
This event is a part of Al-Bustan's An Immigrant Alphabet, public art installation. A project lead by artist Wendy Ewald and 18 students from Northeast High School in which they explored they're experiences as immigrants and refugees and how they could represent those experiences through letters of the alphabet.
