This is a family friendly event, so all are welcome! Proceeds are benefiting the "Save Otter Lake" project and MNHHS cheer. Hosted by The Otter Lake Conservation Society. What is the Otter Lake Conservation Society?

The OLCS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to SAVE OTTER LAKE.

Why does Otter Lake need saving?

Otter Lake is located in Hanson, KY and has been a popular recreational area for Hopkins County for more than 70 years. Otter Lake Dam has been deemed a high hazard dam by the Kentucky Energy and Environmental Cabinet. The dam must be repaired or the lake will be drained.

How is the lake going to be saved?

The OLCS has been working with Hopkins County, City of Madisonville, and others to save the lake. OLCS is trying to raise funds to help support the construction project.
