We feature well over 100 different homebrewed beers, ciders, and meads made by various club members, as well as beers from great craft breweries from around the Pittsburgh region.

Who is organizing this event?

Brewing for a Cause is hosted by Three Rivers Underground Brewers (TRUB), a longtime Pittsburgh homebrew club. Brewing for a Cause is TRUB’s annual charity event, which is one of Pittsburgh’s longest running beer

Are homebrewed beers any good?

Yes! Many of our brewers win local, regional and national competitions for their beers. They take immense pride in their creations, and because of their small scale, they're able to make creative beers that you'd never find in a brewery. Think Baja Blast Sour or Hazy Glitter Milkshake IPA.

Come join us at Velum Fermentation for a day of brewing and giving back! This in-person event will bring together commercial and home brewers to raise funds for a good cause. Whether you're a fan of creative beers or dogs and cats, there will be something for everyone. Get ready to enjoy a great venue and great people while sipping on some delicious brews. Remember this is all in support of Paws Across Pittsburgh, a fantastic local non-profit who helps rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home thousands of homeless pets through their network of volunteer foster families..
