Join us for a morning of insightful discussions that aims to increase your awareness and understanding of neurodivergence.

Disgrifiad

Yn y byd sydd ohoni heddiw, mae 1 mewn 7 o bobl yn cael eu nodi yn niwrowahanol, felly mae’n hanfodol fod busnesau yn gynhwysol ac yn cefnogi pob unigolyn.

Mae rheoli gweithiwr niwroamrywiol yn gallu cael ei ystyried yn her sylweddol i gyflogwr. Mae’r digwyddiad brecwast hwn yn anelu i herio rhagdybiaethau a galluogi cyflogwyr i ystyried niwroamrywiaeth fel mantais i fusnes pan fydd cydweithwyr niwroamrywiol yn cael eu cefnogi a’u rheoli yn effeithiol.

Beth i’w Ddisgwyl

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn dathlu unigrwydd unigolion sy’n niwrowahanol. Byddwn yn treulio amser yn canolbwyntio ar beth yw niwrowahaniaeth; pa mor gyffredin ydyw; amlygu’r cryfderau a sgiliau sydd gan bobl a chynnig awgrymiadau ar gyfer addasiadau rhesymol fydd yn helpu cydweithwyr i ffynnu.

Bydd ein digwyddiad brecwast wyneb yn wyneb 3 awr yng Nghanolfan Dechnoleg OpTIC, Llanelwy yn cynnwys:

• Deall y gwahaniaeth rhwng ystod o fathau o niwroamrywiaeth
• Manteision a sgiliau’r mathau amrywiol o niwrowahanol
• Sut i gael y gorau o weithwyr niwroamrywiol
• Sut i wneud addasiadau rhesymol sy’n cael effaith i gefnogi gweithwyr niwrowahanol.
• Y sefyllfa gyfreithiol
• Ble i ddod o hyd i adnoddau ychwanegol i gyflogwyr ar niwroamrywiaeth.
• Holi ac Ateb

Pwy yw Sir Ddinbych yn Gweithio?

Nod gwasanaeth Sir Ddinbych yn Gweithio Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yw cydlynu’r math o gymorth sy’n helpu pobl i mewn i waith drwy chwalu rhwystrau. Gan weithio gyda busnesau a sefydliadau lleol, mae rhaglen Sir Ddinbych yn Gweithio wedi ymrwymo i gefnogi pobl sy’n byw yn Sir Ddinbych i gael gwaith a/neu i uwchsgilio gyda hyfforddiant am ddim.

Description

In today’s world, 1 in 7 people identify as neurodivergent, it’s therefore crucial that businesses are inclusive and supportive of all individuals.

Managing a neurodiverse employee can be seen as a significant challenge to an employer. This breakfast event aims to challenge preconceptions and enable employers to see neurodivergence as a business advantage when neurodiverse colleagues are supported and managed effectively.

What to Expect

This event will celebrate the uniqueness of individuals who are neurodivergent. We will spend time focussing on what neurodivergence is; how common it is; highlighting the strengths and skills that people have and offer suggestions for reasonable adjustments which will help colleagues to thrive.

Our 3 - hour face-to-face breakfast event at the OpTIC Technology Centre, St Asaph will cover:

• Understanding the difference between a range of neurodiversity types
• The benefits and skills of the different neurodivergent types
• How to get the best from neurodiverse employees
• How to make impactful reasonable adjustments to support neurodivergent employees.
• The legal position
• Where to find additional employer resources on neurodiversity.
• Q&A

There will be plenty of free parking.

Who is Working Denbighshire?

This event is organised by Working Denbighshire and supported by Conwy Employment Hub, AutonoMe, and Autism Lead Officer for Denbighshire & Conwy.

Denbighshire County Council’s Working Denbighshire service aims to coordinate support that helps people into work by removing barriers. Working with local businesses and organisations, the Working Denbighshire programme is committed to supporting people who live in Denbighshire to get into the world of work and/or further their skills with free training.
