What to expect from a breathwork session?

Breathwork meets you exactly where you are. Through guided breathing, your body begins to soften, open, and reveal what has been held - stress, emotions, tension, or simply the need to reconnect.

On the day, I guide you through every step: the breath, the sensations, the release, & the integration.

How to prepare for the session?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing so you can move and breathe without restriction.

Remove jewellery, especially around the neck.

Bring your water bottle and lip balm.

Bring your journal if you like to capture anything afterwards.

Avoid coffee or stimulants for about 4 hours before the session.

What happens to the mind and body during a breathwork session?

Accepted Answer

Breathwork works directly with your nervous system. As your breathing changes, your body shifts between activation and relaxation, which creates space for release and reset.

Because more oxygen moves through the bod, you may feel tingling, warmth, tension releasing, changes in temperature.

Are there any medical instances where breathwork can't be practiced?

Epilepsy or history of seizures

Detached retina or glaucoma

Osteoporosis

Recent surgery or injuries (session possible only after full recovery)

Cardiovascular disease or history of heart attack or stroke

Pregnancy

Severe asthma
