Breathe The Change - At The Greenhouse Project

Come join us for a rejuvenating experience at The Greenhouse Project! This in-person event will take place at 200 Arthur Ave. Join Donya Jackson, the founder of Breathe and Prosper, for an hour of whole person health awareness. This session will encompass live healing music, crystal sound bowls and a focus on breathing through the grief and its accompanying emotions and challenges. Connect with nature, practice mindfulness, and learn new ways to incorporate sustainable habits as you flow through the ups and downs of life. Let's breathe in positivity and embrace change together. See you there!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything?

Honestly no, however, an old comfy throw or blanket for your shoulders or lap is strongly recommended. This builds on the feeling of comfort and helps create a personalized space as you experience your emotions through this meditation.

Can children attend?

If you are certain the child can sit in silence through 60 minutes of a healing session which calls for quiet reflection, breath work and deep, active listening then absolutely. Please note that the SILENCE part is the most important and crucial part.

This is an outdoor event, will you cancel because of weather?

No. We have two contingency plans at the location listed if we need to make adjustments for weather.

Is this like yoga? Do I have to move a lot?

It is like yoga in that yoga is a form of meditation but NO, you do not have to do too much more than breathe and be open to instruction on gentle ways to change your breathing pattern.

Is this religious?

No, this is breathwork, focus and self-reflection. That being said, in your own self-reflection and growth, you can absolutely use meditation to strengthen your connection to your religious beliefs if you choose.
