Overview

Coming back to yourself

A therapist-led day retreat for women who want to invest in their emotional and spiritual wellbeing, just as much as their physical health.

Just as we care for our bodies, this day is an opportunity to care for your inner world. A chance to slow down, breathe, reconnect and step out of everyday noise into a calm, supportive space.

Held in the energy of high summer, this retreat invites a gentle return inward at a time when life can feel busy and outward-focused.

Cancer season is often associated with emotional safety, intuition and coming back to yourself. This day offers space to step away from doing and performing, and spend time reconnecting with your inner world in a grounded, supportive way.

This is not about fixing yourself or striving for change. It’s about returning to your body, your breath and what truly matters.

You’ll spend the day in a small, supportive group, with plenty of space for your own process. Sharing is always optional, and you’re free to engage in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

What the day includes

• Therapist-led Conscious Connected Breathwork with space for integration

• A guided self-exploration workshop focused on intention, growth and coming back to yourself

• Somatic movement and grounding practices, with time outdoors

• A deeply relaxing sound healing

• Time for reflection and journaling

• Nourishing lunch, snacks and refreshments

• A calm, welcoming space held in a small group setting

The workshop

At the heart of the day is a therapist-led workshop designed to support self-reflection, awareness and conscious growth.

Through guided prompts, gentle enquiry and embodied practices, you’ll explore what you’re ready to release, what you want to strengthen, and how you want to move forward through the rest of the summer and beyond.

This is not about being put on the spot or pushing yourself. It’s about honest self-connection, choice and awareness, held in a grounded and supportive way.

Breathwork and integration

The breathwork session is a core part of the day. Through Conscious Connected Breathwork, you’ll be guided into a deeper state of awareness, helping you move beyond the thinking mind and into the body. This can support emotional release, insight and access to healing states of consciousness.

Each experience is unique. Some people feel deep calm or connection, others experience emotional release, clarity or a shift in perspective.

What’s especially important is the integration space afterwards. There will be time to rest, reflect, journal and talk about what came up if you wish. This therapist-led integration helps what you experience land in the body and make sense, supporting real and lasting healing rather than just a powerful experience.

Sharing is always optional, and support is there throughout.

Who this retreat is for

This day is for women who:

• value emotional and spiritual health

• enjoy meaningful experiences and self-reflection

• want time away from everyday roles and responsibilities

• feel drawn to breathwork, embodiment and inner work

• want to invest in themselves in a grounded, supportive way

No previous experience with breathwork or retreats is needed. Just an openness to the process.

Therapist-led and trauma-informed

This retreat is led by a qualified counsellor and breathwork facilitator and is held in a trauma-informed way, with choice, consent and safety at the centre.

There is no pressure to share, speak or participate in anything that doesn’t feel right for you.

About your host
