About this event

Embark on a journey to reclaim your true power through the connection to your breath, body, and Self through Conscious Connected Breathwork.

Innate in the body, our breath provides a unique connection to the Self, allowing access to a non-ordinary state of consciousness. As we journey together, you may begin to access, and open parts of yourself that typically function outside of daily awareness; the power of our breath can unlock energy, emotions, creativity and wisdom that allows us to heal, and integrate past experiences.

You will be supported throughout this process in a loving, intentional manner where you can discover your connection with breath as a direct guide for healing, and transformation. As you drop out of your mind and into your body, facilitators will provide individual support, including optional touch, sound healing, and energy work.

Date: Saturday, May 25th

Doors Open @ 9:30 AM

Ceremony Begins Promptly @ 10 AM

What is Conscious Connected Breathwork and what are the benefits?

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a style of intentional overbreathing that consists of a three-part breathing technique, a 2-part active inhale through the mouth, followed by a passive exhalation. This creates a circular breathing pattern that can be maintained throughout the journey; modifications and adjustments to this pattern are encouraged, as you connect with your unique breath and experience. This form of somatic therapy is a non-narrative approach to healing, and offers breathers a way to access memories and wisdom stored in the body and nervous system. Breathwork can promote the following benefits:

  • Better sleep
  • Nervous system regulations & stress reduction
  • Greater capacity for emotional processing
  • Elevated mood and physical vitality
  • Greater access to love and joy
  • Ancestral healing and trauma release

I’ve never done this before, what can I expect?

We will be hosting our breathwork journey at the stunning Fremont Abbey, which has vaulted ceilings and beautiful windows. After we help everyone get cozy with their yoga mats and blankets, we will spend about 15 minutes going over an introduction to breathwork, model the breathing pattern, and answer any questions. You will then be guided through a 60-minute active Breathwork Journey accompanied by music that will help you dive deeper into yourself, and provide a steady rhythm to breathe. An optional 30-minute Integration Circle will be held after the ceremony, allowing individuals to share, hold space, and express parts of their experience within the loving community we will create together.
