Our lactation consultants are here to help you prepare for a successful breastfeeding experience with your newborn. We will discuss:
- Advantages of breastfeeding
- Breast anatomy
- Proper latching technique
- How to position and hold your baby for a more comfortable breastfeeding experience
- How to establish a good milk supply
- How to know if your baby is getting enough to eat
- How partners can participate in the breastfeeding experience
- Breastfeeding resources and support groups
- How to address the challenges of breastfeeding
This class meets in Classroom 1 in the Doctors Center building at Flowers Hospital. The classroom is located on the 4th floor of the North Tower of the Doctors Center building. Please use the elevators to the right when entering the Doctors Center lobby.
