ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH DEPRESSION?

Let's check it out! These are the most common signs:

  1. Persistent low mood or sadness: Feeling down or hopeless most of the day, even for weeks or months at a time.
  2. Loss of interest or pleasure in activities you once enjoyed: Things that used to bring you joy no longer seem appealing (including hobbies, social activities, or even sex.)
  3. Changes in appetite or weight: Significant weight loss or gain (unrelated to dieting) can be a sign of depression.
  4. Sleep problems: Trouble sleeping or sleeping too much can both be symptoms of depression.
  5. Feeling tired or having low energy: Even small tasks can feel overwhelming, and you may feel constantly drained.
  6. Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions: You may struggle to focus on work, school, or even simple tasks.
  7. Restlessness or feeling slowed down: You may feel agitated or unable to sit still, or you may move and speak slowly.
  8. Feelings of worthlessness or guilt: You may constantly criticize yourself or feel like a burden to others.
  9. Withdrawing from social activities: You may lose interest in spending time with friends and family or avoid social situations altogether.
  10. Thoughts of death or suicide: If you are having thoughts of suicide, please reach out for help immediately. There is hope; you don't have to go through this alone.
