He'll also talk about the EUDI Ecosystem Hackathon (June 4–5th), a fully remote hackathon that marks the first publicly open opportunity for the anyone interested to build in the EUDI ecosystem, and with a challenge track targeted specifically to builders and real-world interactions with the digital wallet.<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/augustin-bielefeld/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/augustin-bielefeld/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Augustin Bielefeld</a>, Principal Engineer at <a href="https://eilbek-research.de/" title="https://eilbek-research.de/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Eilbek Research GmbH</a> Augustin will share how his team is building a more accessible, community-driven hardware manufacturing ecosystem in Europe—enabling founders to develop and produce electronics locally instead of relying on overseas production. He’ll discuss their work setting up a PCB assembly line in Hamburg tailored to startups and early-stage engineers, addressing the gap in affordable small-series manufacturing, and fostering open collaboration around design, production, and knowledge-sharing. <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/leonmeier/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/leonmeier/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Leon Meier</a>, Co-Founder and CEO of <a href="https://supplychat.ai/" title="https://supplychat.ai/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SupplyChat</a>Leon Meier will show hardware founders how AI procurement agentsturn sourcing into an autonomous workflow, handling intake, quotecomparison, negotiation, and ordering end-to-end, so teams cut unitcosts without burning engineering time.- Representing SupplyChat, a Berlin-based team building procurementagents for hardware and industrial startups, Leon will shareconcrete results from live customers, including asingle sourcing move that saved €72K on one SKU within ten days ofengagement, and what founders can apply to their own bill ofmaterials right after the session.
