The OCA brings together vendors and end users in an open cybersecurity ecosystem where products can freely exchange information, insights, analytics, and orchestrated response. The OCA supports commonly developed code and tooling and the use of mutually agreed upon technologies, data standards, and procedures.The OCA is an OASIS Open Project.

Breakfast with OCA is a casual opportunity to connect, converse and collaborate with members of the Open Cybersecurity Alliance Community during this year&#x27;s RSA Conference. WHEN: Wednesday, 8 June from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM PDTWHERE: Hilton San Francisco Union Square in the Union Square RoomOpen Cybersecurity Alliance (<a href="https://opencybersecurityalliance.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">OCA</a>) develops standardized data interfaces to support an open ecosystem where cybersecurity tools interoperate without the need for custom integrations.Some very exciting projects have joined OCA this year. This is an exclusive opportunity to learn more about the work being done and to learn how you could benefit. OCA Projects:<ul><li><a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/kestrel-lang" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kestrel</a>, a Threat Hunting Language, provides an abstraction for threat hunters to focus on what to hunt instead of how to hunt.</li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/stix-shifter" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">STIX Shifter</a>, a patterning library, allows data to be normalized across domains for comprehensive security analysis. </li></ul><ul><li>Posture Attribute Collection and Evaluation (<a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/PACE" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">PACE</a>) automates the collection and evaluation of security posture attributes from computing resources.</li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/documentation/tree/master/iob-wg" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Indicators of Behavior</a> (IoB) Sharing focuses on the challenge of moving detections to Indicators of Behavior, and how to collaborate on, share IoB based detections between products and tool. </li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/documentation/tree/master/ZeroTrust" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zero Trust Architecture </a>works to create and further refine OCA technologies to enable a Zero Trust architecture.</li></ul><ul><li><a href="https://github.com/opencybersecurityalliance/documentation/tree/master/Architecture%20Documents/Ontology" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">OCA Ontology</a> creates a unified ontology for cybersecurity information in order to have standard ways of encoding information on data fabrics, APIs, etc. </li></ul>Special thank you to OCA member -- <a href="https://www.cisecurity.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Center for Internet Security (CIS)</a> -- for hosting our breakfast event.
