CASA of Central Virginia (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to recruit, train and support volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court system and to educate the community about the needs of these children.

Have you settled on a New Year's resolution for 2018?  Give a child a chance for a safe and permanent home. Join us for breakfast and an hour-long video/slide presentation about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and how to become one. Attend to apply for Winter2018 training (cutoff date January 10). There will also be time for Q&A by CASA's veteran volunteer and training instructor. Bring a friend and learn more about the rewards of this unique volunteer opportunity.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The information session will be held at Pearson Cancer Center. Park in any available parking spot. Once you enter the lobby, turn left and look for the CASA sign pointing to the meeting room.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, the ticket is for your information only and is not required to attend.
