“Break It Down” Class

Fire, Flour & Fork is a four-day gathering for the food curious, October 31st-Nov. 3rd, 2019 in and around Richmond, Virginia. Now in its 6th year, it's produced by Real Richmond Food Tours with presenting sponsor Virginia is for Lovers. It celebrates the best the Richmond region has to offer: its complex history, its rich artistic community and its established and rising culinary stars.  What to expect: a curated mix of dining events, behind-the-scenes tours, demonstrations, talks from food and beverage producers, cookbook authors, culinary historians, chefs, bartenders and bakers.Nonprofit beneficiaries include Tricycle Urban Ag, Shalom Farms, Richmond Habitat for Humanity (the kitchen inside the House that Beer Built), J. Sargeant Reynolds Culinary Scholarship Foundation, Richmond Food Justice Alliance and the Holli Fund.Contact info@fireflourandfork.com with questions.

Fire Flour & Fork 2019

Butcher/chef Tanya Cauthen of Belmont Butchery and Scuffletown Garden’s Adam Campbell show attendees how they break down a pig and share their knowledge on how to use some of the lesser-known cuts. After the lesson, pork small plates and complementary drinks for all. A portion of ticket price goes to a local nonprofit. 
Tickets on sale August 16th at 10 a.m.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Attendees will need to have ID showing they are 21 or over to partake of alcohol at any of the events.
What about dietary restrictions?
We're sorry but dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Pulse, Uber, Lyft and taxis are available. There is on-street parking nearby. 
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
