Join us live with Skillshare Top Teacher Gia Graham in this interactive create-a-long, discussion and Q&A on getting your artwork licensed.

Gia Graham is an accomplished illustrator and lettering artist that has done it all, from corporate design and branding to art direction, photo styling and stationery design. As a creative entrepreneur, she has had her work licensed by brands big and small, and over the years she’s learned what it takes to build a strong client network to get paid for your creative work.

In this Live Session, Gia will share her journey from launching her own stationery line to licensing her artwork to other brands. Along the way, you’ll gather key insights for growing your own creative practice. Then, Gia will guide you through designing a greeting card while offering tips on how to approach artwork for licensing.

You Will Learn:

  • Insights for growing your creative business and getting your work licensed.
  • The design process and timeline for licensing creative work.
  • How to create work that is designed for common licensing opportunities.
  • Gia’s creative process for making greeting cards.

You will walk away from the session with a roadmap for getting your work licensed and your own mocked up greeting card.

What to Bring:

  • Paper and your preferred drawing medium (paper, pens, markers).
  • If you would like to work digitally, bring your iPad with the Procreate app installed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions live in the session.
