A family friendly, FREE event for kids ages 10 - 18 celebrating graphic novels, comics, manga, and pop culture.

We are planning a full day of sessions, workshops, gaming, crafting, cosplay, anime and a whole lot of fun. Activities are based on anime, manga, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and more.Costumes are encouraged but not required (prop weapons will NOT be allowed).

Food trucks and vendors will be present and most accept cash only. 

Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. for registration. 

Attendees will need to pick up and wear a BrazCon wristband while at the event. Anyone without a wristband will be redirected to a check-in point to pick up their wristband.

**NEW for 2020** Attendees MUST have a ticket to enter! The tickets must be ordered from Eventbrite.com in ADVANCE. There will be NO ENTRY without a ticket. Space is limited!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The target age is 10 - 18, however all ages will be welcome to attend. BrazCon is a family friendly event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be free parking at Manvel High School. There are two parking lots available, one in the front and a very large parking lot in the back, around the football stadium and at Manvel Junior High located behind the high school..

What can I bring into the event?

You may dress in costume, but prop weapons will not be allowed since this is a school campus. Lunches may be brought in if participants plan on staying all day. Food trucks, pizza, hot dogs and snack foods will be available for sale. All food must be eaten in the Cafeteria or outside on picnic benches. There will also be vendors selling comic books, graphic novels and fandom related items and many vendors prefer cash.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn&#x27;t match the person who attends?

Yes, you may get a ticket from another person, the names do not have to match.

Where can I get my BrazCon wristband?

Wristbands may be picked up at any check-in point, where you will also show your ticket. Wristbands are free and must be worn while at the event.
