You'll learn:<ul><li>A three-part framework to help you know what to share in a feedback conversation, so both parties walk away feeling the relationship is BETTER after the feedback.</li><li>Three things to NEVER do in a feedback conversation, to avoid triggering the other person.</li><li>How to lead a conversation even if the other person gets defensive or upset.</li><li>Three tools that make receiving harsh feedback not so triggering but instead incredibly helpful for your goals.</li><li>Psychology know-how that will demystify how to give better feedback, and how to be better about receiving feedback.</li></ul>WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR:<ul><li>If you want to learn how to give your manager or coworker feedback that is motivating and helpful to everyone involved.</li><li>If you've ever given feedback in the past and it didn't go great -- you either felt waaaaay too nice and indirect, or it landed waaaaaaaay too harsh and intense.</li><li>If you wish you could handle receiving feedback better, so it didn't upset you so much and the conversation felt more productive.</li></ul>If any of these apply -- this workshop is for you! The session is designed for all employee levels, as well as freelancers who want to work better with their clients, new and experienced managers who want to improve their feedback game, leaders who want to tap into "motivation psychology" for their team, and anyone intrigued with how to handle feedback gracefully and productively.Your pre-workshop homework: Take 15 minutes to write out: Who is someone that you have difficult feedback to give to, or that you once gave difficult feedback to and wish the conversation could have gone better? This is an interactive session, which means you can ask questions in real time via audio or chat, as well as volunteer to practice via video and get feedback.
