Come learn the basics of braiding at our fun and interactive workshop for beginners!

Kinky Twisted Coils (formerly, Summer's Hair Boutique)

This workshop will be an In Person Workshop. Group and Private Workshops are Available. OBJECTIVE:The objective of this workshop is to teach you how to braid a cornrow to the scalp. IN THE WORKSHOP, STUDENTS WILL LEARN TO:-Part a clean part.-Correctly place their hands and fingers on head.-Braid a cornrow. LENGTH OF CLASS:2 ½ hours of hands on training. TOOLS INCLUDED FOR THE WORKSHOP:-Mannequin* or Live Model-Mannequin table Stand*-Clips/Clamps-Combs-Brush-Jam *Mannequin and stand will be provided for use during instruction time. If you would like to purchase a mannequin to use and take home, please add that option during checkout. BRAIDING IS A BASIC SKILL EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN AND KNOW. BRAIDING IS THE FOUNDATION FOR A LOT OF STYLES. AFTER COMPLETING THIS WORKSHOP, STUDENTS WILL HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF PARTING A CLEAN PART, PROPER HAND AND FINGER PLACEMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, BRAIDING A NEAT CORNROW.
