Marsh + Mane is a new natural hair and lifestyle boutique in Philadelphia from owner Jenea Robinson. Robinson curated the shop’s selection of hair and skin care products to honor and elevate Black hair and beauty rituals. Marsh + Mane is a safe haven where women of color can feel comfortable to peruse products without feeling watched or followed. Our hair is sacred. We finally have a place that will honor the sanctity of our crowns.

Finally, we're going to teach you how to braid your hair! As we continue our pop-up shop with <a href="https://marshandmane.com/collections/dosso-beauty" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dosso Beauty</a>, join us on Sunday, June 26th for our first box braid workshop.In this 2-hour session taught by master braider Kiara Brown, you will learn:<ul><li>How to attach braiding hair to your hair</li><li>How to do a knotless braid</li><li>How to do a box braid</li><li>The basics of parting your hair</li></ul>We provide everything you need for the class so all you have to do is show up! You'll receive a Dosso Beauty Braid Box which includes:<ul><li>(6) Single Packs of 28" Hypoallergenic Braiding Hair. You choose the color!</li><li>Organic Edge Control</li><li>Edge Brush</li><li>Edge Scarf</li><li>Satin Braid Bonnet</li></ul>As a bonus, we'll have some champagne and great company!Important info:<ul><li>You MUST know how to do a basic three-strand braid. We will not be teaching that in this course.</li><li>Since our instructor will provide some hands on assistance, we ask that you show up with your hair freshly washed and blow dried (or stretched).</li><li>The purpose of this class is to learn the basics of braiding your hair.
